DESCRIPTION
-----------
Thanks for downloading my Canadian Space Agency,NASA & ESA skins. The white-based template is courtesy of Marco Jansen, the decals and touch-ups are my own work. The Canadian version of the XR1 has been named "Alouette", in honour of Canada's first artificial satellite, launched in 1962. The NASA version has been named "Aquarius", in honour of the lunar module by the same name which acted as a lifeboat during the Apollo 13 mission (and also because I'm a big Jim Lovell fan). Both of the above skins are cleaner than in the previous release. My previous version featured a base by Scorpion, which had a more weathered look. I've also added an ESA skin, named "Mirage" in honour of the venerable fighter produced in France. All skins have a paint scheme similar to that used by the NASA Space Shuttles.

------------

To install this custom XR1 skins & scenarios, simply extract it to your Orbiter directory. All files should automatically install to the proper folders & sub-folders.

----------------------
USING THIS CUSTOM SKIN
----------------------

Once the files are installed, simply load up one of the following pre-installed scenarios in DG-XR1 folder:

To use the custom skin in your own scenarios, you need to set the skin name in the scenario file. For example, if you wish to use the NASA skin, go to the appropriate scenario file. Find the entry for the XR1. At the very bottom of the settings, just before END, type:

  SKIN NASA

When the scenario loads, the NASA skin should appear. If the SKIN heading is blank or non-existent in the scenario file, the default XR1 textures will load.
